Now that it's officially summertime, Austin is starting to get into fishing. He got a new Lightning McQueen (still his favorite character) fishing pole in preparation for a trip to Beebe and Gramp's camp for Memorial Day. He spent almost an hour outside learning to cast and practicing in our driveway the day he got it.
We had a good time at the camp but Austin didn't catch any fish.
At the first of this month, Austin spent a week at Grandma and Grandpa's while Faimon, Christa, and Aaron went to Oklahoma for a friend's wedding. This is the longest Austin has been away. We all survived and enjoyed our week. Austin went fishing with Grandma and Grandpa, too, and caught two fish this time.

Good to know Austin is still into Lighting McQueen. (We, of course, still are too!)
Sounds like Austin's got some pretty cool grandparents. Could Chris and I go to fishing camp too?! :)
